Anime Like Taishou Otome Fairytale, a SynergySP-adapted anime TV series, premiered in October 2021.
Despite being born into a wealthy family, Tamahiko Shima grew up without receiving a single drop of love from his parents.
He lost everything after an accident, including his mother, the use of his right hand, and his father’s expectations.
Since he had lost the use of his dominant hand, his father saw him as useless and decided it was best to send him to the vila in the Chiba mountains.
Tamahiko, believing that this was his final home, sat quietly awaiting his demise.
On a snowy night, however, someone knocks on the door, and when he opens it, a young girl introduces herself as his soon-to-be bride, who has come to take care of him!
The following ten anime are very similar to Taishou Otome Fairytale.
9. Snow White with the Red Hair
Shirayuki is a cheerful red-haired herbalist in Tanbarun’s kingdom.
Her life is turned upside down one day when she is noticed by a prince who orders her to become his concubine.
She refuses, cuts her beautiful long hair, and flees to Clarines, a neighboring kingdom.
Shirayuki comes across a prince Zed who has been poisoned by an apple that was meant to poison her while hiding.
She quickly assists the prince due to her extensive knowledge of herbs, poisons, and antidotes, and she joins him on his journey back to the Kingdom.
Shirayuki decides to pursue her own dream of becoming a proper court herbalist when the opportunity arises!
8. The World is Still Beautiful
Nike Remercier is a Rain Dukedom princess with the ability to summon rain with her voice.
She discovers one day that she is the one who will have to marry the Sun Kingdom’s king, Livius, as part of an arranged marriage deal.
Nike is concerned about the future because rumors circulate that he is a tyrannical and cruel ruler.
When the day of their meeting arrives, however, and she finally meets Livius in person, she quickly realizes that he is nothing like she imagined!
Both the anime The World Is Still Beautiful and Taishou Otome Fairytale is both made of the same stuff. Both are underappreciated romantic series with plenty of heartwarming moments.
7. Fruits Basket
Assume you want a gentle shoujo-style anime with a kind-hearted, thoughtful heroine who assists others in overcoming trauma.
Fruits Basket will restore your faith in humanity in the same way that Taishou Otome Otogibanashi did.
The heroine, Tohru, is one of many underappreciated waifus who reminds me a lot of Yuzu.
Tohru, a hardworking and sweet girl who lost both parents and was forced to live in a tent until she moved in with three seemingly normal and handsome guys from The Sohma Family, is the focus of the series.
The Sohma boys are actually possessed by zodiac animals!
6. Tonikaku Kawaii
This anime follow Nasa Yuzaki, a boy who is hit by a truck on the day of his high school entrance exams and is saved by a stunningly beautiful girl named Tsukasa Tsukuyomi.
Nasa, barely alive and on the verge of passing out, manages to confess his feelings for the girl.
Tsukasa accepts his feelings and agrees to become his girlfriend if they marry, which Nasa gladly accepts.
Tsukasa is nowhere to be found when he awakens in the hospital.
Years pass and Nasa devotes his entire attention to reconciling with her, to no avail.
One day, an unexpected visitor arrives at his door with a marriage form, kicking off their relationship and marriage.
5. The Helpful Fox Senko-san
After a seemingly young fox demigod moves in to care for him, the life of a young overworked salaryman changes.
The Friendly Fox Senko-san is as endearing, adorable, and soothing as Taishou Otome Fairytale.
They demonstrate how even the most troubled souls can be healed by unconditional love.
Horimiya appears to be unrelated to Taishou Otome Fairytale on the surface, but it exudes the same wholesome vibes.
Both are romantic comedy series that is well worth watching. There is nothing edgy about their relationship; it is healthy.
Horimiya tells the story of two high school classmates who hide their true personalities from their peers.
They happen to meet unexpectedly outside of school one day, accidentally revealing their true selves to each other.
Following this encounter, an unlikely friendship develops.
3. Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits
Aoi was born with the ability to see ayakashi, a type of youkai.
Aoi feeds some ayakashi one fateful day, and a demon appears, claiming that Aoi’s deceased grandfather owed him a huge debt.
As his granddaughter, Aoi should repay him by marrying him.
She, on the other hand, declines the offer and decides to pay off the debt by working!
Both are heartwarming tales in which the main characters end up living together.
The heroine is strong and selfless, always willing to help others and have a special healing effect on them.
You can expect a charming love story, a light plot, and appealing art.
2. Kamisama Kiss
In fact, Kamisama Kiss is a very similar anime to Taishou Otome Fairytale, minus the supernatural elements.
A tsundere male with a troubled past and an uncertain future find himself living with a cheerful and optimistic teen girl.
Against all odds, she transforms him for the better, and the two falls in love.
Both of these anime are upbeat, engaging, and adorable!
1. The Duke of Death and His Maid
These two series are uncannily similar!
In The Duke of Death and His Maid, a boy is cursed as a child by a witch and gains the unwelcome power to kill everything he touches.
He sets himself the goal of figuring out how to break free from the curse and have a normal relationship with the girl he loves.
Protagonists who are shunned by everyone because they have a certain disability (or curse) are banished to a remote mansion.
Fortunately, they are both surrounded by supportive, cute, and loyal companions who are willing to go to great lengths to ensure that their needs are met.
