This slice-of-life series arose from Shonen Sunday, demonstrating that the shonen genre is more than just action.

Jujutsu Kaisen is chock-full of instantly likable people, thrilling action, and truly heart-wrenching drama.

To Your Eternity

Many anime have similar plots, but To Your Eternity may be the only one with an eternal, sentient orb as the protagonist – but Fushi isn’t an orb for long.

After being sent to Earth by an unknown creator, the ball slowly begins to learn from its surroundings, gaining consciousness and the ability to turn into anything it is stimulated by.

Fushi begins a heartbreaking journey as he evolves from a rock to a wolf and eventually a boy, learning what it is to be human.

But the series maintains its feeling of hope throughout, finding beauty in life’s impermanence and reminding viewers that nothing is truly gone as long as it lives on in your memory.

World Trigger Season 3

Since its debut in 2014, World Trigger has been one of the most popular shonen anime series.

Despite taking a multi-year break from 2016 to 2021, World Trigger’s popularity hasn’t waned.

With fans rushing back to watch the second season in January and the third season in the fall.
