Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie : The Anime that will set your hearts on FIRE!

Well , it’s not everyday that we lay our eyes upon some masterpiece like this . Kimetsu No Yaiba that is Demon Slayer is one of the manga that got it’s Anime out in the market very soon . Kimetsu no Yaiba movie is just the extension of the story in a time constrained movie fashion.

Its hardly a sight that a manga from 2016 to get an Anime adaptation in April (Shigatsu) of 2019 . The Anime was Blockbuster because the story was good enough in itself that the anime rose to greater heights with a very good IMDb rating .

lets look into the bigger picture…. 

~ STORY THEORY ~

The world is full of Demon , the Anti-heroic character . These Demons have it all . May it be infinite life , no signs of aging , insane power and some even have special techniques known as Blood Demon Art. So where there’s a shadow , there’s always light . so in the light , we have Demon Slayers . Pretty simple , the ones who slay the demons.

Our Protagonist , named Kamado Tanjirou , belongs to a poor family . A family that burns and sells charcoal in the nearby town to make ends meet. Now things cant go as smooth as they are or else there won’t be any Shonen essence isn’t it ?

~ THE CHANGE : THE STORY ~

One day , the wind was furious , night was dark and for some reason , the villagers are too nice . So , one of them offered Tanjirou shelter , and reminded him that demons lurk around in the dark .

Well they are kind of weak against sunlight , like vampires. So yeah , on that night a Demon attacked and killed all the members of his family . his mom and 5 or 6 other siblings who died .

But , for a plot twist , one of her younger sister named Nezuko , was actually predetermined to be alive as her body was not out cold.

Tanjirou puts her on his back and rushes to the nearby hospital . To his surprise , her sister was exposed to Demon blood . And is a Demon now . that’s how they multiply anyway . But then an elite member of Demon Slayer Corporation appears.

Tomioka Giyu , A Hashira , tells him that if he wants to protect his sibling from others he will have to join Demon Slayer Corporation .

And this marked the beginning of a story which did wonders . This was then animated to be one of the best Anime , Weebkind had ever laid their eyes upon.

~ Voice Cast – Cast Voice ~

Well there’s a humongous voice cast , there are specific characters which are of no such significance in the story but are given very decent screen time.

We’ll leave the marketing and publicity acts to the studio itself. Ufotable Studios directed and animated Kimetsu No Yaiba : The Movie . The publicity acts were not limited to the online marketing , there was outlets specifically themed onto Kimetsu No Yaiba Movie .

These cafes were neither cheap to build nor to maintain . But they café hit a huge suceess as the Kimetsu No Yaiba Movie marked the ‘highest grossing movie of all time ‘ title.

~ Box Office Collection : The Big Bang ~

The worldwide box office total for Kimetsu No Yaiba Movie is over the boundaries of Spirited Away’s box office. Over 36.9 million tickets for Kimetsu No Yaiba the movie have been sold .

The Boom is not only limited to Japan . The America’s Austrailia’s and even the Europe’s Box office is in tremors.

The America registered Their top grossing movie of all time as Kimetsu no Yaiba the movie Mugen train .A miraculous box office collection in Americas and Canda . And a whopping collection in South Korea and Thailand Regions

~ Movie Theroy ~

The Main focus of Kimetsu No Yaiba movie revolves around a train . This train is suspicious as there have been 40 people , who went missing . Few Demon Slayers were sent but all went dud . So in this train our main protag and his friends hover on the train to find the answers they seek . There they meet the flame Hashira , Rengoku . And embark the beginning of a nail biting , thrill filled animation . And story line will take you to the edge of your seats.

The kimetsu no yaiba movie serves as the bridge between season 1 and season 2 . But this doesn’t hinder the fact that it still would’ve been a bad -ass stand alone movie . The movie has twists and turns , not sure you would like , but sure makes the story gripping and full of mysteries .

Once They cleared the train mystery a new problem in the form of upper – moon 3 , AKAZA , arrives on the scene .

And you’ll notice a freking 20 minute full showdown of crazy animation and jaw -dropping exchange of blows between Akaza and Rengoku.

~ The Verdict and Vestiges ~

Although it’s a must watch , but that simply doesn’t mean ,it’s the best. The animation is jaw dropping , the fight choreography is good as it is and the fights are fast paced and not prolonged . Kimetsu No Yaiba movie focuses on Akaza more than the initial vilian, and it more or less shifted the whole meaning of the movie .

The second problem was that there weren’t enough music , new in the sense . The reused GURENGE-LISA and added HOMURA-LISA at the end was a soothing sight.

Although the movie was fast paced and there was no need of music ,but no one dislikes a good music in the background. The movie is a good one timer, but the story board makes it hard to say its the best , the ending could have been handled better , and there wasn’t any such ‘Bridge’ that we talked about earlier.
