Dragon Ball Franchise took the anime community by a storm. The manga series is written by Dragon Ball franchise creator Akira Toriyama and illustrated by Toyotarou. It was first published on June 20, 2015.
Dragon Ball Super: Season 1 received a tremendous amount of love from its fans in Japan as well as in other countries. Now fans are super hyped up and eagerly waiting for Dragon Ball Super: Season 2.

Why there is a delay?
The first season of Dragon Ball super was released on July 5, 2015, containing 131 episodes. It aired for three long years, running from July 2015 till March 2018. Dragon Ball Super: Broly – Skytree Super, was released on November 1, 2018, which acts as a dessert for the fans. An anime movie titled Dragon Ball Super: Broly was released on December 14, 2018, which was a huge hit too.
Since late December in 2018 fans are eagerly waiting for the Dragon ball Super: Season 2. In march 2019, according to some reports claimed that the next season would premiere in July 2019.
However, Toei Animation, the producers, denied these reports, and later they confirmed that these were just rumors and that no new episodes were under production.
As of now, there is no official update regarding Dragon Ball Super: Season 2. Well, the fans are now impatient and eagerly waiting for the future of the series. Well, there is no need to get discouraged as anime shows usually take a long time to recommence. So, there’s plenty of time left for renewal of the second season of Dragon Ball Super.
One of the main reasons for the delay is Coronavirus which interpreted the shoots and filming of all shows and movies. But as the world is adjusting to a new normal, pending projects are getting finished real soon.
Dragon Ball Super Season 2 Release Date
The wait is over. Dragon Ball Super: Season 2 is on a roll and will be delivered soon. The manga areries are still being published with a lot of source material and huge popularity. Acoording to this pace, we will be able to see the second season pretty soon.
So, when will the second season of Dragon Ball Super is going to be aired. The estimated guess would be, the end of 2021. However, it currently has no release date. We will update the fans as soon as an official announcement is made.
